At Kaches Cabin, nestled near Kachess Lake in the heart of the Wenatchee National Forest, the main level centers around an open great room, dining area, and kitchen—designed for gathering after a day of outdoor adventure. Fir doors, hemlock trim, and custom Avalanche Ranch lighting bring warm mountain character throughout, while expansive windows frame views of the surrounding peaks and immerse you in the privacy of the forest. Knotty alder cabinetry, granite countertops, and an eating bar make the kitchen easy to cook and gather in, whether you're fueling up before a morning on the mountain or unwinding with a glass of wine after.
Just off the kitchen, the covered deck with outdoor speakers is the perfect spot for morning coffee or evening drinks, with the fire pit nearby for stargazing and roasting marshmallows once the sun goes down. Challenge the family to a game of horseshoes, or simply relax and take in the mountain air—this is why you came to the woods.
Upstairs, a loft and rec area offer a second living space, ideal for game nights, movie marathons, or a quiet spot to read. The primary suite is tucked privately on this level, featuring French doors, a walk-in closet, custom glass art, a cozy fireplace, and a private bath—your own peaceful retreat after a day of adventure. Two additional bedrooms, give the whole family (or group) room to spread out, while a second bath keeps mornings running smoothly.

Guests will have full access to the entire home including the private suite. You’ll receive a unique access code prior to your arrival for seamless self-check-in.

Kachess Cabin is a secluded retreat, and you will need a vehicle to access the home. Since many of the area’s activities and destinations—such as The Summit, Cle Elum, Roslyn, and the golf courses in Suncadia—require driving, we recommend planning for regular travel during your stay. From December through February, all-wheel drive vehicles are best suited for snowy conditions, and we strongly suggest bringing and packing appropriate snow chains in your vehicle.

PRE-ARRIVAL ID VERIFICATION: Guests will be asked to complete a pre-arrival form and ID verification upon booking confirmation.

FEE DISCLOSURE
We understand that accidents can happen. To give you peace of mind during your stay, we offer two options to help protect both you and the home:

1️⃣ Damage Waiver
For a small, one-time fee of $64, our Damage Waiver covers accidental damage and normal wear and tear during your stay.

✔️ Helps avoid unexpected repair or replacement costs
✔️ Keeps the property in great shape for you and future guests

With the Damage Waiver, you can relax and enjoy your stay without added stress.
⚠️ The Damage Waiver is non-refundable. Please report any damages before checkout.
⚠️ While the waiver helps protect you from unexpected accidents, it doesn’t cover theft, intentional damage, or damage from misuse/abusing the space or ignoring house rules—such as smoking indoors, throwing a party, damage caused by a pet or deliberately breaking items.

2️⃣ Safety Deposit
Alternatively, you can choose a refundable Safety Deposit to cover any potential damages during your stay.
💳 A temporary hold of $1,000 is placed on your payment method 2 days before check-in
✅ If no damage is reported, the hold is released 2 days after checkout
🔁 For longer stays, the hold is renewed every 7 days
⏳ Processing may take up to 14 days, depending on your credit card provider

All fees are fully disclosed in advance and processed through secure, Airbnb-compliant software “Enso Connect”.

Acceptance of our rental agreement and applicable fees are required to receive access to the home. No exceptions.

Blue Sky Retreats reserves the right to approve each pet request and charge an additional fee of up to $250. This fee is fully disclosed in advance and also processed through "Enso Connect".

HOUSEHOLD ESSENTIALS PROVIDED

• We provide a starter supply of household essentials to get you comfortably settled in. This includes dish soap, dishwasher pods, trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, laundry pods or sheets, and bath products (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash).
• You’ll also find basic kitchen staples such as salt, pepper, tea, coffee, creamer, hot chocolate, and K-cups. These are provided in amounts intended to last about two to three days, depending on usage; guests are responsible for purchasing any additional supplies needed for the rest of their stay.
• For linens, we provide towels, washcloths, and hand towels for each guest, along with sheets, pillowcases, comforters, and/or blankets for each bed. For longer stays or heavier use, guests can refresh everything using the in-home washer and dryer. Please avoid overfilling the washing machine so the spin cycle works properly, and the drum is not damaged.

GOOD NEIGHBOR PROTECTION PROGRAM
This home resides in a noise-sensitive area, and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor Protection Program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant and only monitors the level of decibels and number of devices. It does not record or listen to any personal conversation or information.
