Ski, Hike, Bike, Snowmobile Out Front Door

SPECIAL OFFER: Stay November 26-29, receive $100 for Thanksgiving groceries.

Kachess Cabin is your family's 4-season basecamp at Lake Kachess! The last cabin before the Sno-Park, bordering the Wenatchee National Forest—you can go snowmobiling, x-country skiing, hiking, biking right from your door. Ski, snowboard or snow-tube The Summit in 20 min, or golf Suncadia in 30. Warm up and relax by the fireplace or gather around the Smart TV for family movie night after a day of outdoor adventure.

At Kaches Cabin, nestled near Kachess Lake in the heart of the Wenatchee National Forest, the main level centers around an open great room, dining area, and kitchen—designed for gathering after a day of outdoor adventure. Fir doors, hemlock trim, and custom Avalanche Ranch lighting bring warm mountain character throughout, while expansive windows frame views of the surrounding peaks and immerse you in the privacy of the forest. Knotty alder cabinetry, granite countertops, and an eating bar make the kitchen easy to cook and gather in, whether you're fueling up before a morning on the mountain or unwinding with a glass of wine after.
Just off the kitchen, the covered deck with outdoor speakers is the perfect spot for morning coffee or evening drinks, with the fire pit nearby for stargazing and roasting marshmallows once the sun goes down. Challenge the family to a game of horseshoes, or simply relax and take in the mountain air—this is why you came to the woods.
Upstairs, a loft and rec area offer a second living space, ideal for game nights, movie marathons, or a quiet spot to read. The primary suite is tucked privately on this level, featuring French doors, a walk-in closet, custom glass art, a cozy fireplace, and a private bath—your own peaceful retreat after a day of adventure. Two additional bedrooms, give the whole family (or group) room to spread out, while a second bath keeps mornings running smoothly.
Enjoy your welcome gift: Wine, sparkling cider or water, tea, popcorn and other snacks.

A NOTE FROM YOUR HOST Join us for an unforgettable stay and discover why our guests leave glowing 5-star reviews! We believe that every detail matters, which is why our space is equipped with modern amenities to ensure you have everything you need for a relaxing experience. If there’s anything we can do to enhance your stay, please let us know—we can’t wait to host you! Your Host, Santo Criscuolo Owner, Blue Sky Retreats

Guests will have full access to the entire home including the private suite. You’ll receive a unique access code prior to your arrival for seamless self-check-in.

Kachess Cabin is a secluded retreat, and you will need a vehicle to access the home. Since many of the area’s activities and destinations—such as The Summit, Cle Elum, Roslyn, and the golf courses in Suncadia—require driving, we recommend planning for regular travel during your stay. From December through February, all-wheel drive vehicles are best suited for snowy conditions, and we strongly suggest bringing and packing appropriate snow chains in your vehicle.

PRE-ARRIVAL ID VERIFICATION: Guests will be asked to complete a pre-arrival form and ID verification upon booking confirmation.

WHAT PET FRIENDLY UPON REQUEST MEANS: Blue Sky Retreats reserves the right to approve each pet request and charge an additional fee of up to $250.

HOUSEHOLD ESSENTIALS PROVIDED

• We provide a starter supply of household essentials to get you comfortably settled in. This includes dish soap, dishwasher pods, trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, laundry pods or sheets, and bath products (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash).
• You’ll also find basic kitchen staples such as salt, pepper, tea, coffee, creamer, hot chocolate, and K-cups. These are provided in amounts intended to last about two to three days, depending on usage; guests are responsible for purchasing any additional supplies needed for the rest of their stay.
• For linens, we provide towels, washcloths, and hand towels for each guest, along with sheets, pillowcases, comforters, and/or blankets for each bed. For longer stays or heavier use, guests can refresh everything using the in-home washer and dryer. Please avoid overfilling the washing machine so the spin cycle works properly, and the drum is not damaged.
